The Raritan Bay Power Squadron is one of 450 regional squadrons that make up the world's largest boating educational and social family oriented organization for power and sail boating, The United States Power Squadrons. Our members are comprised of boating families who contribute to their communities by promoting safe boating on the water and in the classroom and enjoy extensive social activities.  Area we service (see number 12 on map).

Our public Boating Course is Nationally recognized as the most complete boating safety course available and meets requirements for New Jersey boating certification!

Note:  Mandatory boating education for all boaters

was required by State Law Effective June 1, 2006

FAQ about the new law

 

We offer four public boating courses each year.  These courses, upon successful completion, meet New Jersey State Certification requirements for boats and (PWC) personal watercraft operation, and also meets the requirements of all other states.
